Production Technology of Methane Chloride
The process of 200 KTA methane chlorides is developed through independent R&D on basis of absorbing domestic and foreign advanced technology. This technology uses methanol and chlorine as raw materials. Methanol is firstly catalyzed and hydrochlorinated into methyl chloride, and then chlorinated to generate dichloromethane, trichloromethane and carbon chloride.
Some remarkable features include small investment, simple process, and gentle reaction condition, high reliability of equipment, high automation, long operation cycle, excellent product quality, low energy consumption, high utilization rate of raw materials, few by-products, reaction medium circulatory system and no pollutant emissions. Products include chloromethane, dichloromethane, trichloromethane etc. This technology is based on sound development foundation, and the products are widely used in many industries as raw materials, which have a broad market in chemical industry. It could create great economic and social benefits and has broad prospects.
This 200 KTA facility is the largest production line in China. It covers an area of about 18,000 square meters and takes construction period of 13 months. With outstanding capability of designing, fabricating and installing, we could meet different requirements of customers.
