1. Application: Dimethylformamide (DMF) as an important chemical raw material and excellent solvent,mainly used in PU resin, PU leather, acrylic fibers, pharmaceuticals, pesticides,dyes, electronic part cleaning and other industries.

2. Hazard statement(s):Flammable liquid and vapor. Harmful ifswallowed. Harmful in contact with skin. Causes mild skin irritation. Causesserious eye irritation. May damage fertility or the unborn child. Causes damageto organs (oral, liver, kidneys). Causes damage to organs through prolonged orrepeated exposure (inhalation, liver).

3. Description of necessary first aid measures

If inhaled:If breathed in,move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.Consult a physician.

In case of skin contact:Wash off with soapand plenty of water. Consult a physician.

In case of eye contact:Rinse thoroughlywith plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.

If ingestion:Never give anythingby mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.

5. Firefighting Measures: UseFoam, Dry chemical powder, Carbon dioxide, Water spray or fog. Special hazardsarising from the chemical: Liquid and vapour are flammable. Moderate firehazard when exposed to heat or flame.
